The Walden Planning Commission 

The Walden Planning Commission (WPC) was created in October 2022 and became active in December 2022.

A prime mission of the WPC is to make zoning and land use recommendations to the Town of Walden legislative body. The WPC provides transparent advice to our community and maximizes valuable resources to offer a rich quality of life. As our area grows, it will continue to promote a diverse community with a dynamic balance of agriculture and commerce.

The Walden Planning Commission meets at 5:30 p.m. at Walden Town Hall, located at 1836 Taft Highway, Walden, TN, on the fourth Thursday of the month during January, February, March, April, May, June, August, September, and October. There is no meeting in July or December. The November meeting is on Thursday, November 19.
